I write poetry, nonfiction, and fiction, usually with public community sharing as the ultimate goal of my work. I write to experience change, feel alive, and celebrate my connection with others. I also love to facilitate the process of writing as a way to collaborate with others and offer "non-writers" a new way to express their voices in the world. We all have stories to tell, heart-rooms to heal, and visions to offer in this life, but not everyone feels confident about their writing skills.

I designed a method for composing called "Lotus Writing" for people who are interested in creative writing, autobiographical stories, or simple reflective writing.  Even people who are new to writing find this method to be helpful. This process is linked together in four specific steps, combined with some simple meditation techniques which can promote memory, imagination, and writing skill. This work is great for people who may want to become writers, people who are writing personal essays for grants or college applications, or people who simply want to explore what their lives are showing them.

I am also available to work with groups (schools, recovery environments, hospitals, art centers, retreat settings, and community organizations, etc).  Group rates are decided upon with the groups requesting services.

I also facilitate writing circles at Alchemy Studios in Phoenix, some eight-week courses at Phoenix Center for the Arts and daily gigs in community venues through PCA's Outreach Programs/Artmobile.
